Product Description
Use this drill bit while installing threaded inserts into skis of all types. This is a special stepped drill bit to allow use with any standard ski drill jigs. The working section is an "F" sized drill bit (.257" or 6.5mm) ground to drill to a depth of 9.5mm (appropriate for most skis). This is the same drill bit included in the Basic Installation kit/Comp Kit/Comp Plus Kit.

No-nonsense bit for inserts

If you're getting the inserts, get this too. No messing with standard drill bits and tape or whatever else to make sure you get an accurate depth. This takes the guesswork out of it and cleanly drills the right depth every time. Simple to use and saves you time and possibly ruining your new skis!

For making a hole the right depth and diameter, this bit works. Don't try to get away with using a standard bit.

Enjoy. If you dont buy any other tools, at least get this one. Makes your life much easier
