We've tooled up our own custom M5 screws specifically made for mounting ski bindings to swap plates or inserts. The head is tapered and fits like a flathead screw, but with a smaller diameter head so that they fit bindings which require a smaller diameter clearance. The underside of the head has locking serrations to help ensure that the screw doesn't back out over time. High quality stainless steel. For use with a Pozi #3 phillips head screwdriver.
It is very important to maximize the number of threads engaged in an insert or a swap plate, so be sure to measure carefully. Inserts can accommodate from 3mm min to 6mm max of thread engagement. We like to target 4mm of thread engagement. Do not excede the min/max numbers for any reason - you will not get a secure mount. These screws fit exactly like allen head flatheads in terms of length.
If screw head diameters need to be ground down specify on your order how many and which lengths in the note section and we will do it for you.

These shipped immediately, arrived fast, and were in immaculate shape. Very happy with the binding freedom system, I will be using these inserts for all of my skis from now on.

The only caveat is that (as previously noted) these may not be 'flush' enough for your particular binding. Customer service on this is incredibly good and they sent out some non-Ponzi's ASAP. I will switch to these as I like the Ponzi for field tightening when this model is updated.

Sweet solid screw.
I only had a problem on my Beast 14 heel (possibly other heels?) That the tall head blocks the binding from is forward pressure movement. I had to get the fully flat type M5 screws to make it work.

There isn't much more to say other than that these are high quality screws. They fit solidly into the Pozi drive screwdriver and feel very secure when fastened. Other insert products I've seen are not this good.
